Delete your account and data

1. Introduction

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you the right to request deletion of your account and personal data we process.

There are two equivalent, free options, described in sections 3 and 4 of this document.

2. Who can request deletion?

Only the account holder can request its deletion. We verify identity through the email address associated with the account.

If you forgot your password or cannot access the app, use the email option in section 4.

3. From the app (instant)

This is the fastest route — deletion is immediate.

Steps: 1) Sign in to SingThem. 2) Open Profile. 3) Tap "Delete account". 4) Confirm in the prompt.

Your account is deleted instantly, personal data is anonymised and your session is terminated on every device.

4. By email (up to 30 days)

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@cookthem.com from the address linked to your account with subject "Account deletion request".

We will process the request within 30 calendar days, in line with GDPR article 12.3. You will receive an email confirmation once deletion is complete.

5. What is deleted

We anonymise or delete: email address, username, password, external sign-in identifiers (Google, Apple), authentication tokens and refresh tokens.

Your active subscription is cancelled (no further charges are generated).

Songs you generated are kept without a link to your identity — they remain accessible if you had shared them publicly.

6. What we keep by legal obligation

Invoices and accounting records for payments: 5 years (Spanish General Tax Law art. 66), with no personal data beyond what tax law requires.

Anonymised security logs: 12 months (Spanish Law 25/2007).

7. Timelines

Deletion via the app: instant.

Deletion via email: up to 30 calendar days from receipt of the request.
